This health update page will be dedicated to all things health wise. We have so much information available to us yet we take our health for granted. Health is not limited to just the body but also the mind and the soul. Feeding your mind with positive things and actually believing in yourself and your God given abilities will help you to be a better person.
The body as a whole needs good nutritional diet to function well. It is always said that you are what you eat. You may believe it or not but the food we eat goes straight into our system. What we rub on the surface of our bodies also goes into our bodies, lip ticks, perfumes, make ups, all somehow end up somewhere in our bodies.
Don’t worry help is at hand!! This is what the liver does all day long. Getting rid of all the bad stuff that we do not need. Please do not overwhelm it!!
You can help your internal organs by providing them with good choices and a wide range of foods rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
It is recommended that, you eat at lease 20 different types of foods. Fruits, vegetables, spices and herbs all counts toward that. The key to a healthier diet is variety so try to eat mix of many types of foods. Food or diets that has low nutritional values eaten in large quantities over a long period of time can cause diseases such as obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol and heart problems. Eating foods rich in nutrient can help prevent DNA damage. Foods rich carotenoids and vitamins E can prevent DNA damage from occurring.
Science has discovered a lot of nutrients and vitamins in foods but, there are still other unknown benefits in foods that are yet to be discovered. So experiment with foods. Remember some foods doesn’t have to be cooked.
